A film based on Deus Ex: Human Revolution has been announced

The American film company CBS Films has acquired the rights to create a film based on the cyberpunk project Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Terry Press, one of the presidents of the film company, assured fans that CBS Films was going to work closely with Eidos Montreal, the development studio, to work on the film. “Following the game’s runaway success, it’s clear that publisher Square Enix and developer Eidos Montreal know how to create incredible experiences for audiences by designing incredible worlds,” Press told Variety. — Nobody knows Deus Ex: Human Revolution better than the people who made it. That’s why we’re going to work with the developers from day one to make sure the film adaptation is worthy of the Deus Ex name.". In turn, the president of Square Enix Europe, Phil Rogers, noted that the publisher believes in strong partnerships between the studios and is really looking forward to the opportunity to work on a film based on the famous game.

The film will be produced by Roy Lee, who has worked on such films as White Captivity, The Departed and How to Train Your Dragon, as well as Adrian Askaria, who is not the first to adapt game series. The producer has work on “Hitman”, and plans include “Hitman 2” and “Kane and Lynch”. Unfortunately, other details have not yet been announced.

I hope they will be given normal age limits, and not like with Bioshock 14+, when for her 18+ it won’t seem like much in terms of psychedelicity and bloodiness (if you dive in, and not on the surface of the meaning of wandering).

Adrian Askaria, who is not the lowdeposit-casinos.co.uk first to adapt game series. The producer’s credits include work on "Hitman"

The main thing is not to fall into the “SUPER-DUPER-HYPER FUCK WHAT COOL FIGHTS WITH EXPLOSIONS AND WHISTLING BULLETS”, the game is not about that)

A visually complex film should be released… in the game you have time to feel the atmosphere, but here you won’t be able to look at the landscapes for two hours. The mood will be a cheerful action movie for popcorn lovers, I think. Well, let the players scratch their teeth again, proving that “it has nothing to do with the game”. There is as much hope for quality as for the fact that they will be able to create something at the level of the Matrix.

I doubt that a good movie will be made, they made a so-so hitman movie, and Uwe Bol ruined so much!
I only hope for Mass Effect 🙂

Be thankful that they didn’t let some other Uwe Bohl film be made into a film, otherwise he would have been immediately doomed to failure. (Whoever watched films under his direction, I think will understand me.)
