Another Assassin’s Creed or why no one gives a damn about the Forerunners?

Series Assassin’s Creed over its almost ten-year history, it has slipped a couple of times, reached a creative impasse, and now it’s about to compete with the ubiquitous Skyrim. Many people fell in love with this series for its unusual take on our history, interesting gameplay or charismatic characters. However, I personally remember these games for the extremely interesting story about the “First Civilization”, the Apples of Eden and all that stuff, which is somehow connected with biblical stories. Although now such a game could be banned here, somehow Ubisoft managed to surprisingly organically and very successfully develop the second story in the series. However, for many, this plot did not go beyond the framework of strange computer women who talk something absurd about the end of the world, Desmond and the fact that we are all screwed. Totally fucked up.

Therefore, meet my first blog on Stopgame.ru. This is a story about everything that seemed superfluous in the second and subsequent Assassins, namely: Minerva, Juno, the secret of Adam and Eve, why the hell did the Assassins forget here, and so on… I will divide my story into parts, in each of which I will tell about what exactly we will learn from each part of the series, and the spoilers will contain my personal attitude to each of the games. However, due to my illiteracy and generally extreme wrongness, I can forget about something, because we are all human and we make mistakes.

Assassin’s Creed

The first part, of course, lives and blooms in the hearts of fans, but it is not in my heart, just as there is no third part, as well as Liberation, damn it. However, what cannot be taken away from her is how she turned the world upside down. After all, parkour was new to me personally, open worlds were not yet mainstream, and YouTube did not become an evil corporation like EA, Activision and, who knows, let it be Nintendo, because who else, if not it, was the Hitler of the world of video games in the eighties and nineties.The gameplay was too monotonous, and the color palette was painfully poor. Yes, among the fans there are many who completed the game in mode no HUD, but I’m not one of them.
That’s why the first part of Assassin’s Creed gets 5 from me.6 Altairs from 10 Masyafs. Understand as you wish.

In fact, in the first part there are few topics suitable for my story. So little that there is only one, namely the Apple of Eden itself. It looked very original, and therefore gave rise to many theories about its origin among fans, or I just want to believe it.

It is the apple, and also the fact itself first parts then sold me the game, because I became acquainted with it after the release of the second part, in which everything was somehow completely incomprehensible, but at the same time very, very attractive. In addition to the magical (although not really) properties of the apple and the fact that it can cloud the minds of Al-Mualim and Abbas (spoiler!) the player knows absolutely nothing. And that’s why I should move on, back to the future!

Assassin’s Creed 2 and more about Ezio

Excellent, if not the best sequel from Ubisoft. There is more parkour here, it has become more dynamic, the choice of armor and weapons is pleasing, and the characters are memorable. Among them there are more historical figures, and the opportunity to overthrow the Pope is a strong. I would like to say “Keep it up, burn Yubiki!“, but we all know what exactly awaits us next… And I give Ezio’s trilogy a proud 8.5 out of 10, although this is not a review.

But here there is more material: at the end of their adventure in the second part, the three main characters (Ezio, Desmond and the player) meet Minerva – the main of all holographic computer women. She, for a second, is a representative of the First Civilization, which was so cool that it was able to self-destruct, leaving only artifacts and a couple of caves. Convenient, what can I say. By the way, Minerva will tell Desmond, which seems strange, because he’s not there yet, and if she knows about his presence, then… Oh, never mind. The main thing is that she warns of a catastrophe that destroyed her people and, surprise, surprise, can also destroy us. All this is accompanied by good holograms straight from the first Star Wars trilogy.

In addition, there are a number of nongambancasinos.co.uk activities throughout the Ezio trilogy, which will tell you:
– who are Adam and Eve and what did they do;
– what exactly did Object 16 do;
– other little things, for example, who is the woman with whom Ezio slept at the beginning of the second part;
We are, rather, interested in the first, and this, by the way, is a very interesting, albeit short video, which I recommend watching.

In this video, the local Adam and Eve escape from Eden like real assassins, which prompts us to think that our favorite hooded killers have an increased concentration of the First Civilization gene, and this is a rather interesting fact.

Also, let’s not forget about Desmond, because the next section will be closely related to him. He is a hereditary assassin who gave up on “his own path” and went through life alone. Drinking, partying, and working as a bartender did not bring any benefit to either the Assassins or the Templars. That is why, in 2012, he is kidnapped by Abstergo Industries, which needs the following from Desmond:
– lie in the Animus;
– regularly get up from it and go to bed (this infuriated me);
– find a piece of Eden, namely the Apple;
– join the assassins and escape (although this was not part of the plans, but did anyone doubt it?? )
After completing all the points, Desmond meets all the representatives of the brotherhood of assassins: Rebecca Crane (controls Animus version 2.0 ), Sean Hastings (teasing Desmond and just infuriating me personally) and Lucy, who has been with Desmond since the first part, where she helped him escape.

The modern brotherhood instructs Desmond to sit in the Animus again so that through the trickle-down effect he can fight, jump and climb normally. This time there were no regular exits from the Animus, which is good news. Having gained the abilities of a real assassin, Desmond and company go to Villa Monteriggioni because it is the safest place. There, having once again spent time in the Animus, our modern assassin with a rich pedigree comes to Rome, because they need to find an artifact in the Colosseum. Having found a secret entrance and crawled around inside a little, Desmond learns the terrible truth – Lucy is a double agent. The same Minerva tells him about this, and through the Apple she forces Desmond to kill the traitor.

All the events in Revelations can be contained in the following sentence – Desmond’s consciousness ends up in the Animus, where he meets the 16th, but then manages to return. I love simple stories.

Assassin’s Creed 3

Shit. The first thing that comes to my mind when I remember the third part. Shit. Too much unnecessary, too little new. No matter how paradoxical it may be, this is the third part. The most delusional in terms of attitude towards world history and the most boring of all. Not only don’t give a damn about the experiences of Radunhageidu or Connor, they naturally don’t give a damn about them. The character is a hunter, an Indian, a tree climber (for the first time in the series), a bit of a trader. All this was not pleasing, although the previous parts managed to do this without having similar mechanics. However, there were also bright sides: naval battles on ships were enjoyed by everyone, and the new graphics coupled with three thousand animations were pleasing to the eye. However, Desmond began to look more and more like a monkey. I give the third assassin a 2.4 out of 5.

As for my story, from the abundance of material in the third assassin, the following is important:
Desmond and Co. are going to finally stop the end of the world 21.12.2012, which will be the most powerful solar flare. It was this crap that destroyed the First Civilization. I’m tired of writing First Civilization, so what follows is simply Forerunners. Now, our Desmond will experience the life of Connor Kenway or simply Radunhageidu. The assassins need another artifact from him, which will stop the end of the world.

Having obtained it through fire, water, hunting, the Revolutionary War and one hell of a parachute jump, Desmond returns to his cave, where he spent the entire game, but I mention this now, since the third part is not very etched in my memory. There he again chats with the Forerunners, now there are two of them. One is Juno, who wants to save the world and rule it, the other is Minerva, for whom freedom is more valuable than life. Naturally, Desmond came here not to solve riddles about two chairs, but to save the world. The bottom line is this: Desmond sacrifices himself and saves the world, and Juno, being a tenacious bitch, survives, although we will understand this later.

Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag

Here I can spend a long time in praise, because black flag is a wonderful adventure from which you get a thrill. The main character is a pirate, he is only interested in women, money and booze. And by the way, for the first time in the series, relative to the previous part, we are going not to the future, but rather to the past, to the era of the Cuban pirates. Everything is great here, well, almost everything. Again, a lot of Yubikov’s branded masturbation: towers, forts, contracts, chests, and so on. That’s why I don’t care, and not 100% completion. Well, okay, the main thing is that this is the best game in the series since the second part, and it’s fun to play. I give the black flag an 8.9 out of 10, because multiplayer is not a thing in Achifki.

Something incomprehensible is happening in the present – the main character is unknown, but he or she is working (damn, gender microaggression, how do you even communicate with people now? ) in Abstergo, but simultaneously leaks information to the assassins, who are represented by the same Rebecca and Sean, who now hardly infuriates. The main thing is that the end of the world is over and Abstergo needs an Observatory that monitors everyone and everything, which allows you to find anyone, anywhere. Useful stuff, overall. Edward Kenway knows her whereabouts, although in his time only the Sage could know about it. A sage is an eternally reincarnating type who seems to remember past lives and knows where the Observatory is. While the GG in the present finds out about this, a modern Sage is already rushing into him, who has his own motives and goals, but is cut out with banal lead from security pistols.

At this time, in the Abstergo servers, the digitized Juno is making plans about the mysterious Second Coming, which should come in Origins, by God.

AC:Unity, AC:Rogue,AC:Liberation,AC:Syndicate

All these games are unnecessary, without them nothing will change. However, Outcast and Unity pleased with new mechanics in the first case and beautiful graphics and multiplayer in the second. Liberation is complete crap for the PS Vita, which was later leaked to PC, and the Syndicate – well, who knows, I’m tired of all this already, or something. Outcast – 7.5/10, the rest 5;3;6/10 in the order in which they are written in bold. Yes, an RPG isn’t such a bad idea, I hope Origins works.

It turns out that all people have the Forerunner gene, and some have such a high level that they are assassins. Seriously, this is some medichlorean-style crap from Star Wars that shows how cool you are. Assassins, it seems, actually have more of the Forerunner genome than others. In the meantime, Juno has become quite overfed, got on the Internet and, in general, is already ready for the Second Coming. The Templars are helping her in this, apparently hoping for her mercy. Juno tells the player, specifically in the Syndicate, about her life and the love that died. The unfortunate man’s name was Aita. Juno was expelled for this, and the Forerunners or Isa turn out to be our creators and part-time slave owners. Juno also created the Sage, who is her beloved Aita, and now she is preparing to return to our world in order to rule.

Epilogue
Phew, the story is kind of heavy. As you can see, everything is not so meaningless and quite exciting. In the meantime, I’m coming up with synonyms for the word “interesting,” the French are making Origins, in which I hope for Second coming, otherwise they are taking too long. Apparently, they themselves are no longer so interested..

I wrote for you PrEsIdEnTe, this is my first blog and I hope for your criticism so that in the future I can definitely please you with my creativity. See you at Stopgame.ru!
